    An observer reported a seal pup among coastal rocks near Schoodic's East Trailhead around 4 p.m. and shared a photograph. The observer tentatively identified it as a harbour seal; that identification remains uncertain. Harbour seal · 1 seal

    A dead grey seal with a visible wound was discovered on the beach. Andrew Jacobs investigated it the next day; New England Aquarium scientist John Chisholm assessed photographs and found the wound consistent with a white-shark bite. Grey seal · 1 seal
