Observation: A grey-seal pup rested on a Stratford beach overnight and returned to Long Island Sound the next morning, according to Mystic Aquarium. The report does not identify an individual animal.

Observation: A young grey seal pup was found on a New Haven street after appearing in the city. The animal was taken into Mystic Aquarium care; the finding is recorded separately from treatment and later death.
